About

Jessica Ford is an English artist, who was born in 1980. She grew up in the beautiful Cotswold town of Stroud in Gloucestershire, into a creative household; surrounded by art books, wonderful paintings and beautiful sculptures. With an artist Mother and an art history lecturer Father, it was a natural progression for her to follow a career in the arts.
For many years Jessica has worked as a commercial illustrator, with great acclaim and success. Her recent venture into the fine arts has been met with great excitement, turning her well tuned and confident use of colour into a new and expressive medium.
Jessica’s work has been featured on George Clarke’s ‘Ugly House to Lovely House’, hangs in the home of the blogger Zoella, graced the cover of Good Homes Magazine, has been interviewed in ‘Breathe’ Magazine and on the 91 Magazine blog. She has also provided work for the stylist and designer, Sophie Robinson’s, room sets at the Good Homes Show in London.
Jessica is based in Hove, where she works from her seaside studio.
